LIFE OUTSIDE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

Outside of school, jobs, volunteer work, and organizations I participate in, I enjoy a ton of other hobbies.  I Love to sing, and for years considered being a music major.  I decided to let it go and do it on my own without school, just for fun, and have gotten plenty of opportunities to sing for Memorial Day, 9/11, church services, as well as my graduation in 2012 from Buchanan High.  I also play the clarinet, piano, and violin. In high school, I was the Drum Major of my high school band for two years and did exhibition mace. It was a way to totally immerse myself in music culture and was a great experience. I Love writing my own songs and am seriously considering starting a Youtube channel for my own music.

I'm a social network freak.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram...you name it, I've probably got it, and probably use it pretty actively.  I have recently began using more social networks since I started my own event and session photography business, http://saralizbethphotography.webs.com.  I also love posting things that make people laugh, think, or question something.

When I was little, like, elementary school little, I was obsessed with the concept of being a host, for anything.  My sister and I would borrow my dad's tape recorder and set up our bedroom like a radio studio.  We'd have our friends call in and request songs, and hold the phone up on speaker to make it sound like we had real callers.  We'd practice our foreign accents and pretend to be celebrities and do Hollywood- style interviews.  Then we'd mail the tape to our friends and they'd share it.  We also performed a variety show for our parents every Tuesday night after we were exposed to Saturday Night Live, which we called "Idiots on Roller Skates," which was just that, us playing as many people as possible and singing, dancing, and playing bagpipes, all while wearing roller skates.  It was so obnoxious, we should probably be responsible for the popularity of aspirin, as I'm sure it took quite a bit to get through a Tuesday night show.

Now my life consists of a very busy schedule, but I love it that way.  Most of my day is school and web design work, but I also make time for my best friends, who are both Psychology majors, (talk gets interesting) and my boyfriend, who doubles as my math and French 1B tutor.

Hope to meet you soon!
